Booking conditions of Kuru Resort online shop
These booking terms and conditions become binding to both parties once the client have received the booking confirmation or/ and made the payment for the booking. Prices include VAT.
E-commerce products are sold by Järvisydän Oy. All prices include VAT. We reserve the right for price changes.
Booking
Booking through sales service/reception
All bookings will be confirmed by e-mail, stating the price of the reservation, as well as the products ordered. The customer will receive a confirmation letter after the booking, the cancellation policies are presented in the confirmation letter. A direct payment link or an invoice is sent to the customer for the payment. A confirmation letter, invoice, and possible prepayment information and payment links will be sent to the customer via email unless otherwise agreed. The payment or installment can be made safely online (with a credit card, Mobile Pay, or online transfer), and once paid, the payment will be registered in the booking system confirming the booking. The payment must be made within the day the payment link is received unless otherwise agreed.
Customer is responsible for the fact that he or she prints a receipt, booking confirmation, product description and booking conditions. The reservation system will send a booking confirmation to the customer’s email address.
Booking online and online payments
The customer makes the reservations on the Internet and pays the full amount immediately. Internet booking is paid either by credit card, through a bank service, mobile payment or online invoice (Jousto, Walley, OP-lasku). The booking system will send a booking confirmation to the email address provided by the customer. You will receive a separate receipt for successful payment from Pay Trail. The Pay Trail receipt is not a booking confirmation but proof of payment. The booking system will send a separate booking confirmation to the email address provided by the customer immediately after payment. The customer is responsible for saving/printing the receipt and the booking confirmation. The booking confirmation and booking number must be included on paper or on mobile when you arrive. (See below for how to proceed if you do not receive a booking confirmation.)
E-commerce prices may vary depending on the availability of capacity and time. Separate campaigns might have different booking conditions which will be mentioned in the bid information. Prices may also differ, given by the sales office or at the reception.
Reservations can be made only by persons of full age (18 years). All bookings will be confirmed by e-mail, stating the price of the reservation, as well as the products ordered. To receive the booking confirmation, the e-mail address has to be written when ordering the products.
Booking confirmation
Booking confirmation must be shown at the reception on arrival (printed or from a mobile device). The booking confirmation will be sent by email, from where you can see
- Reservation ID
- Total amount of the invoice, VAT and other data
Notice! If you haven’t received the booking confirmation:
- Check your spam box.
- Contact the Kuru Resort/Järvisydän sales service immediately for new booking confirmation.
Payment services providers
The payment service provider and operator for the bank payments through Finnish banks is Paytrail Plc (2122839-7). Paytrail Corporation is displayed the payee’s account statement and forwards the payment to the merchant. Paytrail corporation has a payment institution license. In reclamations, we ask you to contact the product vendor.

Cancellation of booking
Please notice! You can change your reservation dates or change the booking fully for a gift card without fees if the cansellation/ change is done 1 day prior the arrival.
Any cancellations must be made by e-mail. The date on which Järvisydän/ Kuru Resort sales office receives the written notification will be regarded as the date of cancellation.
In case of booking cancellation:
- Our individual clients have a right to cancel the booking without a cancellation fee, 7 days before the day of arrival.
- The exceptions for the cancellation are celebration packages and other packages where payment and cancellation conditions are defined separately, sickness or Force majeure cases.
- If the cancellation is made later than 7 days but more than 1 day before the day of arrival, fee of 90 € will be charged. The cancellation must be made before 4 pm.
- In the cases of no-show and when the cancellation is made later that 4pm the day before arrival, the hotel has a right to charge the full amount of the reservation.
- The booking and cancellation conditions for groups are agreed separately at the booking stage.
* Booking and cancellation conditions for campaign and promotional products
Early Bird and other time-limited offers: the reservation can be transferred free of charge within the offer period (the reservation can be transferred to a non-offer period by paying the difference). The reservation can be canceled free of charge 7 days before the date of accommodation or exchanged for a gift card.
Promotional products may also have campaign-specific booking and cancellation policies which are stated in the product.
If the customer cancels the Christmas package:
- cancellation of the entire reservation is possible until 23.11.
- if the booking is canceled 24.11.-3.12., the cancellation fee is 50%
- if the reservation is canceled after 3.12., the cancellation fee is 100%
Kuru Resort–sales office will not compensate for the client for expenses incurred by the cancellation. Kuru Resort -sales office recommends passengers to take out travel insurance, including cancellation insurance.
Stay at the Kuru Resort Saimaa
Villas will be at the client’s disposal as following:
- From 3 pm on the day of arrival till 11 am on the day of departure.
The villa rent covers free using of villa, toilet paper, electric power for heating, light, and free Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are also included.
The lessor has the right to collect some extra payment for the additional cleaning, as well as the cost of the damaged property from the tenant. Additional cleaning means – cleaning of furniture, carpets, and also small repair work (e.g., a wall painting) if this necessity take place due to the fault of the client. In case of disturbance of public peace by the client, causing inconveniences to other clients of the resort, the lessor/representative of the lessor has the right to terminate the contract directly after an opening remark. All expenses caused by the above-stated infringements are collected from the client according to a real amount of damage. Smoking inside, all around the Kuru Resort Saimaa area (incl. the villas) is forbidden. Penalty for smoking inside the cottage is one day’s rent and the expenses of the cleaning fees. The lessor – Kuru Resort Saimaa does not bear responsibility for any allergic reactions and other contretemps caused by illegal smoking.
Compensation of damage
The client is obliged to indemnify against the loss caused to the object/property directly to the owner of the object.
The quantity of inhabitants
The quantity of people living in the rented object is limited by the number of sleeping places (beds).
Possible complaints
About all remarks, concerning the equipment of a villa, it is necessary to inform everything directly to the Kuru Resort –reception. The claims concerning damage compensation should be sent in written within 30 days after the tenancy termination.
Activity Services
The client is obliged to comply with the instructions of the program service manual. If the client violates the instructions, he or she is liable in respect of damage caused to the full. Client’s responsibility to inform in advance the diseases or other causes that may affect the execution of the program service. The Guide has the right to suspend the program service if the client endangers safety. The client is obliged to comply with the instructions of the program service manual. Kuru Resort –Sales Office’s Right to Cancel the Reservation
In the case of force majeure, can Kuru Resort –sales office cancel the reservation. In this case, the customer is entitled to reimbursement of the fees in full.
