3 Night Bastu, Sauna

During your sauna holiday, you’ll get to enjoy up to nine different saunas. In between sauna sessions, you’ll indulge daily in Remi Trémouille’s signature breakfasts, dip into natural waters, spend time outdoors, and relax with a guided yoga or relaxation session (suitable for everyone). You can also use rental equipment from the Safari House freely during your stay.

And if you wonder what is Bastu? -It is a sauna in Swedish and Swedish is our second official language.

Saunas

Sauna experiences included in your holiday:

Private sauna + bathtub in your room. Try also sauna yoga, massage stones and sauna drops (available in your room).
Kuru’s lakeside sauna + outdoor hot tub and swimming dock
Spa saunas: Uppotukkisauna 70°C, Stone sauna 85°C, Glass-walled Scenic Sauna 70°C, Steam Sauna 55°C, Angel Hammam 40°C, Infrared Sauna 45°C
EXTRA SAUNA: Traditional smoke sauna + €300

Itinerary:

Arrival Day:

Arrive according to your own schedule, room available from 3:00 PM.
Enjoy the outdoors with seasonal rental equipment, then heat up the private sauna in your room in the evening. Relax also in the bathtub during your sauna session!

Day 1:

Morning swim in Hietalampi, right next to your room. Swimming dock in front of the sauna.
Remi Trémouille’s signature breakfast at Restaurant Solitary
Outdoor activities with seasonal rental equipment (eFatBike, canoe, kayak, SUP board, touring skates, snowshoes). Equipment can be picked up from the Safari House.
Lakeside sauna 2h, 4:00 PM–6:00 PM. Private session at the lakeside sauna including outdoor hot tub and swimming dock to Hietalampi.

Day 2:

Morning swim in Hietalampi by your room.
Remi Trémouille’s signature breakfast at Restaurant Solitary
Siesta Yoga from 12:30 PM–1:30 PM in the main building of Kuru
Visit to the Lakeside Spa and its six saunas at your own pace. After 6:00 PM, the spa is adults-only.

Day 3:

Morning swim and private sauna in your room.
Remi Trémouille’s signature breakfast at Restaurant Solitary

Smoke sauna

Book the traditional smoke sauna as an extra service. The smoke sauna is traditionally heated for several hours before bathing. The soft heat in the atmospheric sauna and a dip in Lake Saimaa is a quintessential Finnish experience!

Smoke sauna €300 / 2h. Includes towels and other sauna supplies.
